the boring but important bit
Privacy & your data
Last updated 21 September 2026
The short version
- We use your email for the waitlist and nothing else.
- We don't sell it, rent it, share it with brands, or add you to any other list.
- If the project goes ahead, we'll email you once to invite you to create an account. If it doesn't, we'll tell you and delete the list.
- You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Where the project stands
Swag Guerilla is an idea being tested. There is no product, no account and no rewards yet. Joining the waitlist is free, creates no account and no contract, and doesn't oblige you or us to anything. Features, rewards and perks described on the site are what we plan to build and may change before launch. We may also decide not to launch.
What we collect
Only what you type into the waitlist form:
- Swagers: email, first name, what you do, your field, company size, meetings per day and, if you choose to give them, where you're seen, clothing size and style, creator channel and audience size.
- Brands: work email, your name, brand, and, if you choose to give them, website, goal, swag situation, test budget and target audience.
We also store how you reached the page (the referring site and any campaign tags in the link) so we can tell which channels work. We don't ask for, and don't want, passwords, payment details, addresses or photos at this stage.
What we use it for
- To keep your place on the waitlist and avoid duplicate sign-ups.
- To understand who is interested (roles, industries, company sizes, creator audiences) so we can decide whether and what to build. We look at this in aggregate.
- To contact you about the waitlist: an invitation to create an account if Swag Guerilla launches, a small number of updates on the way there, or a note that the project has ended. Brands may get a personal email to talk about a first test.
What we never do
- Sell, rent or trade your details.
- Pass swager details to brands. Matching only happens after launch, inside an account you choose to create.
- Send you marketing for anything other than Swag Guerilla.
Where it's kept and who handles it
The waitlist is stored in a Postgres database run by Neon, and the site is hosted by Vercel. They process the data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes.
We measure traffic with Vercel Analytics, which uses no cookies, and with Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and sign-ups. Your form answers are not sent to either.
How long we keep it
Until Swag Guerilla launches and you've been invited, or until we end the project, in which case the list is deleted. In any case we delete waitlist entries that have been inactive for 24 months.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send. Message us through our LinkedIn page or reply to any email from us, and we'll act on it within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California) you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we use waitlist data, we'll update this page and, if the change matters, email you before it takes effect.
